Welcome to the VISION – VIsual effectS and animation InnovatiOn and simulatioN website. This website is dedicated to the NSERC CREATE Research and Training Program called VISION.

What is VISION?

The VISION industrial stream training program focuses on bringing core training to the film/TV
industry’s visual effects (VFX) sector; VFX uses a wide range of techniques in computer-generated
imagery, animation, compositing, and more; combining both technical and creative talent.

What is the duration of the Project?

VISION will run from 2024 until 2030

What would I have to do to be involved?

If you are a student, the best way is to contact us at Chris.Joslin@carleton.ca; we are always looking for talented researchers (undergraduate, master’s, and PhD) to go through our program.

If you are a company or non-profit organisation, please contact Chris.Joslin@carleton.ca and we shall setup a meeting to discuss potential avenues for internships, research opportunities, visits, etc.
